How do I decide what size to choose?
Our most popular size is B because it not only fits the most common laptop size of 15.4” but also can be used on 17” with out trimming and 14” & 15" laptop with slight trimming.
Choosing the correct size of LapSchtick for your laptop is easy. Just follow on of the three options below and you’ll be ready to start schticking.
- Choose your LapSchtick by the size of laptop you have (14”, 15”, 17”)
- Measure the top of your laptop and choose the appropriate size based on the fit you would like. If your laptop is an uncommon size, a larger LapSchtick can be wrapped over its edges or a smaller LapSchtick will leave a border.
Note that you can always trim a larger LapSchtick to fit a particular laptop.
- Use our handy dandy sizing chart to find your specific size.
Can't find the size on the chart? We recommend selecting "Custom Size" and then entering the exact dimensions and/or the make and model in the comments or special instructions box.(there is also a comments section during checkout) and we'll custom trim you Schticker to you exact laptop or requested dimension. All Schtickers are trimmable but we'd be happy to custom cut one specifically for you.
I can't find my size laptop on the laptop sizing chart. What size should I choose?
We custom trim to fit any size laptop at no additona charge. Just select "Custom Size' from the drop down and enter the exact dimensions you'd like in the notes or special instructions section on the product pages. We'll custom trim your laptop to your exact specifications.
What are Schtickers and what are they made of?
Our Schtickers are made of specially developed vinyl with an amazing removable reusable adhesive on the back designed to be removable without leaving any sticky goo behind. It’s truly amazing! They also are designed to lay over any beveled logo and although it may appear slightly raised in the middle it should lay over it with out any problem.
How do you apply LapSchtick?
Schtickers are super easy to apply and instructions for application are on the back of the labels. They go on very similarly to a normal sticker but because they are removable, if you make a mistake, simply remove your Schticker and start again.
Are LapSchtick removable and reusable?
Removing a LapSchticks is super easy. Simply make sure your Laptop is closed and then pull up the LapSchtick starting on one side. The removable adhesive is amazing and makes them a cinch to remove.
How durable are Schtickers?
LapSchticks are designed to not only look great but also protect the top of your laptop. All LapSchticks have durable top coating that will protect the image and allow you to cleanly wipe off any dirt or spill that get onto the top of your Laptop.. If you get your LapSchtick wet, simply wipe it off. We have tested these under very tough conditions and are confident that they can hold up to normal handling.
Can I have a custom designed Schticker made?

My laptop gets really hot. Will this affect my LapSchtick?
Your LapSchtick will not be affected by the heat. Many laptops run extremely hot. The majority of this heat is on the bottom of the laptop and studies have show heats up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. LapSchticks are designs for the top of your laptop and are guaranteed to hold up in temperatures up to 140 degrees. Just to give you a sense of how hot that is, according the National Burn Center, you would receive 2nd degree burns after touching something at 140 degrees for 5 seconds.
I have a logo on my laptop, will the LapSchtick cover it?
Yes, our LapSchticks will go over the logo on the top of your laptop. We designed LapSchticks to lie relatively flatly. You may see a subtle outline of the logo if it extrudes from the top of your laptop but it will look great. We don't trim around the logo but actually designed the product to go over the top of all logos...even the big ole Dell Logo.
I tried to upload my image but it didn't appear in the preview area, what gives?
Unfortunately our preview area uses javascript for the preview. If you are using a browser that doesn't support javascript unfortunately you won't be able to preview your image. Rest assured, this will not at all affect the quality of the image or the quality of the Schticker. you can just continue with the process which will upload the image and allow you to check out.
I have an Apple notebook that has a glowing apple; will it shine through the LapSchtick?
Yes, you will still be able to see the apple subtly through the back.

Do PodSchtickers fit the new Video iPod?
Yes. Our PodSchtickers are designed to fit the G1,G2, G3, G4, and new Video iPods.
Do you make Schtickers for the iPod Mini or iPod Nano?
We have plans to offer the nano Podschticker shortly but right now we don't have plans for the mini but please feel free to sign up for our newsletter to receive info as we add new product lines.
What are PodSchtickers and what are they made of?
PodSchtickers are vinyl appliques for the back of G1, G2, G3, G4 and video iPods. They are made of a special high quality vinyl with an amazing removable pressure sensitive adhesive. It goes on with no bubbles and comes off with no goo. If you change your mind on the design, simple remove the Schticker and your ready for your next look.
Can I have a custom designed PodSchtickers made?
We are thrilled with the interest in our custom LapSchticks. We have options for both retailers and direct customers.
